Big Baba

We do not speak a similar tongue,
Yet our “language of the hearts”
Every time we are together—
Little to nothing to say,
Yet, everything to feel, to understand.

A line runs between you and I;
We see it every day,
But also understand that it means
Little to nothing, really.
See, you accommodate me
Even more than I do you
And I cannot test your limits
As you wouldn’t mine.

While my mornings warm up
With the sun, and the awesomeness
Of the horizon,
And the sweet harmonies
Of the birds
In their beautiful shades;
They warm even more
With the grace of your excitement
To the sight of I
And how my heart wells with pride
When you move and thrive
In your element.
