Last December, I did not think of this December
As it is. It now troubles me, the unpredictability
Of life—it has always been a fact of our being;
We are evolving creatures in an evolving world—
Normalcy is but a fleeting thought; it lasts not.
The calendar says little about tomorrow,
And plenty about our dreams, our visions,
And oblivion.
