Mortal Stages (Nonet)

Mortal Stages (Nonet)
I
Could see
Him sitting,
His arms folded,
A frown on his face,
Disappointment lurking;
I knew in his heart and mind,
Were myriad thoughts and more feelings;
Things with little to nothing to do.
