Thoughts Of Someday (Spoken Word): Full Version

Thoughts of someday.
Someday—whole, happy, smiley;
A time of illiteracy
On life, on pain, on reality—
Innocence;
A time of calm, of quiet.
A time of peace, of genuine
Smiles and happiness.

Thoughts… of someday.
Some days, with tears
In my eyes, I think
Of a time
When things were different,
When things
Were in our control,
In our command;
O’, some days…

With power over life,
Some days with sunshines—
Warmer, nearer, more real,
Beautiful as ever,
But real, not this
Freezing cold in mid-day,
A breaking heart
In sunsets.

I… Have dreams…
Of someday…
A day with no…
Tears, no… pain.
A time of love,
A time of life,
O’… Dreams…
Of someday…
A day with
Warmer sunshines,
Hotter mid-days,
Breathtaking sunsets.
O’… Dreams…
Of someday…
A time in life
For change
For better days…

But before I can
Wake and live
My dream,
I break,
Behind my window,
Watching the world live;
Existing at only
A distance, a distance—
Feeling… Far away…

(Thinking…)
Of someday…
Whole… Happy… Smiley…
A time… of illiteracy…
On life… On pain… On reality…
Innocence…
A time… of calm… Of quiet…
A time… of peace… Of genuine…
Smiles and happiness…

O’… Thoughts… of someday…

[O’… Thoughts… of someday…]
(Without)
Tears
In my eyes,
A time
When things (are) different,
When things
(Are) in our control,
In our command…
O’… Some days…

With power over life,
Some days with sunshines—
Warmer, nearer, more real,
Beautiful as ever,
But real, not this
Freezing cold in mid-day,
A breaking heart
In sunsets.

O’… Thoughts… of someday…
When my thoughts
Taste better
And less bitter
Than my tears.
