Are We Human Underneath?

I see humans but no humanity. Jason Donohue.

Losing the mask (bonus)

This puzzle about a man yet troubles me—
At what point a man loses humanity…
Conscience may not suffice, even when lacking
And sanity is a complicated phenomenon;
It thus remains a wonder…
Is humanity just a mask?

I read disturbing news about a woman who drowned her 2-year-old in a bucket of water to please her suitor.
