Are you okay, or are you happy?
I closed my eyes at 8 pm,
“If I could dream,” I hoped.
But I fell deep into darkness,
Drowning in my thoughts.
Is this how it looks like?
Is it this empty, this quiet;
The end—is there nothing in it?
I could look around
But I could summon
No sense, no will.
My eyes opened
I checked the time—
It was 6 am,
And my heart felt heavy.
