I Am My Mind

My mind thought we were in danger
And it got us terrified to near-death
My mind thought that I was right
And it got us arguing all night
My mind thought that it was love
And my heart fell for it all over
My mind thought that we were weak
And we felt helpless for many years
My mind thought wrong, plenty of times
And yet, I enabled it, so I was my mind.
